memo: read once, keep quiet

$SHHH

“The fewer people know, the better it is for the ones who do.”

Every other coin needs you to talk about it. This one pays you not to. Buy $SHHH, lock it up, and do absolutely nothing: every day you leave it untouched, you collect a share of a pot that every trader on the token is quietly funding for you. Touch it, and that one day's share is gone; everything you already banked stays yours regardless. 90 days, one smart contract, no team to trust and no admin key to worry about, rules public from day one.

Why this isn't the usual rug setup

The two questions worth asking before you touch any new token are "can the creator drain it" and "can the creator change the rules on me later." Here, both are checkable, not promised:

No mint function
1,000,000,000 $SHHH exist. That number cannot go up, ever, by any call, from any address.
No owner, no pause, no upgrade
There is no admin key anywhere in either contract that could freeze trading, block your unstake, or rewrite a rule after launch.
Your unstake is unconditional
Whatever you lock in, you can pull back out, 1-for-1, at any time, forever, with no exceptions written into the code anywhere.

This isn't a claim you have to take on faith: the contracts are published, verified, and short enough to actually read. Everything below is exactly what they do, not what anyone hopes they'll do.

Why would sitting still ever pay?

Every other coin project needs you to tell your friends about it: more people piling in usually pushes the price up, for a while, so everyone races to shill before the excitement dies down. That race is exactly why most of them die within hours.

$SHHH flips it. You get rewarded when fewer people are moving the token around, not more, which means the smartest move for any individual holder is exactly nothing: don't trade it, don't post about it, just leave it sitting and let the pot grow underneath you. It's a 90-day live test of that idea, with a hard stop built into the code so it can't quietly turn into something else later.

The basic token

Underneath the game is just a normal token. Nothing tricky about it by itself.

How many exist
1,000,000,000 $SHHH. That's it, forever. There is no button anywhere that could ever create more.
Extra fees for trading it
A disclosed 5% creator tax on top of the standard fee every pons launch already charges. Stated here plainly: without it, too little money would actually reach the project or the reward pool to matter.
Where you buy it
On pons, a token launchpad on Robinhood Chain. It works like a simple built-in marketplace: the more people buy, the higher the price ticks up.
Who keeps what, from trading fees
Every time fees get collected and turned into more $SHHH for the pool (see below), 15% of that fee pool goes to the project and 85% goes into the shared pot, every single time, no exceptions, written into the code where anyone can check it. In terms of what a trader actually pays: about 0.9% of the value of a trade eventually reaches the project, and about 4.8% reaches the pool.
Social media
Only this site and the one announcement-only Telegram, both listed directly in the launch metadata. No Twitter, Discord, or Farcaster.

How the "don't touch it" game works

This part is optional: a separate box you can choose to put your $SHHH into. You don't have to use it; $SHHH works fine with or without it.

Here's how it works, step by step, like a simple game:

One extra rule, on top of the daily payout:

Sending your receipt token to someone else costs nothing, no matter who they are. There's no fee for moving it around, since you can always get the exact same result for free anyway (take your $SHHH back out, hand them that instead, they lock it in themselves).

One important thing your receipt token (wSHHH) can't do: you can't sell it directly. There's no marketplace for it anywhere. The only way to turn it back into something you can actually sell is to take it back out (get your original $SHHH back, always at the same 1-for-1 rate), and then sell that $SHHH wherever it normally trades. Taking your money back out works at any time, no matter what. That part is never blocked.

How to actually do this, step by step

  1. Get some $SHHH first: buy it where it trades (pons, or Uniswap once graduated).
  2. Open the staking app, connect your wallet, and lock your $SHHH in. You get your wSHHH receipt back immediately, 1-for-1.
  3. Now do the hard part: nothing. Don't move it, don't send it, don't collect anything, for as many days (rounds) as you can stand.
  4. When you're ready to stop playing, collect your reward. It pays out every quiet round you've earned so far in one go. It only costs you the one round you're currently in.
  5. Want your money back as spendable cash? Take your $SHHH back out (always 1-for-1), then sell it wherever $SHHH trades.

A made-up example, just to show the math, not a promise of what you'll actually get: say the shared pot has 9,000,000 $SHHH in it, with 60 rounds left to go, and today you're one of the quiet people, holding 2% of all the quietly-locked $SHHH. Today's slice of the pot is 9,000,000 ÷ 60 = 150,000 $SHHH, shared among everyone who stayed quiet today. Your 2% of that is 3,000 $SHHH, for doing nothing. Stay quiet again tomorrow, and the same math runs again on whatever's left in the pot then. The real numbers depend on how much trading happens and how many other people also stay quiet. Nobody can promise you an exact number ahead of time, including this page, but the mechanism paying it out is real and already running.

What happens after 90 days

The game has a hard stop: exactly 90 days after the staking box first goes live, written permanently into the code. Nobody, ever, can push that date back. After that day, no more rounds close and no more daily rewards are handed out.

Instead, one single final payout happens: whatever is still sitting in the pot gets split up among everyone who is staked at that exact moment, based on how much each person has locked in. Being "quiet" doesn't matter anymore at that point: the game is simply over. New people can't lock money in anymore after day 90 either, so nobody can sneak in at the last second and grab a slice of a pot they never contributed to.

Taking your $SHHH back out (unstaking) is never affected by any of this. It works 1-for-1, any time: before day 90, exactly on day 90, and forever after.

Questions people actually ask

What is $SHHH, in one sentence?

A token where doing nothing pays you, for 90 days, run entirely by a smart contract instead of a company or a team.

Is this real money?

It's a cryptocurrency token, which can be bought and sold for real value, same as any other coin on the network it lives on. It is also genuinely experimental and could be worth very little. It's a game first, not a savings account.

How do I actually get some $SHHH?

Buy it on pons, the launchpad it trades through, same as any other token launched there. You'll need ETH in your wallet to cover the trade.

What does "staking" mean here?

Putting your $SHHH into the SilencePool contract, so it's locked up and eligible to earn rewards. It's not gone. You can always take it back. It's just parked somewhere that tracks whether you're staying quiet.

What is wSHHH?

The receipt you get the moment you stake. If you lock in 500 $SHHH, you get 500 wSHHH. It proves your claim on your locked-up $SHHH, and it's also the thing that gets marked "noisy" if you move it around.

Why do I get a separate receipt token instead of just keeping my $SHHH?

Because the game needs some way to tell "this person has money parked here" apart from "this person is holding $SHHH freely." The receipt (wSHHH) is that marker, and it's how your unstaked $SHHH always stays exactly 1-for-1 redeemable.

What exactly counts as "touching" it?

Four things: staking more, unstaking, sending your wSHHH to someone else, or collecting a reward. All four mark you "noisy" for that one day only. Just holding still and doing nothing is the only way to stay "quiet."

What if I touch it by accident?

You only lose that one day's reward. Every day you were already quiet before that stays paid and yours. Nothing else is punished. You just start being "quiet" again starting the next round.

What's a "round"?

One day, exactly 24 hours. There are 90 of them total, back to back, starting the moment the staking box goes live.

How much money will I actually make?

Nobody can say in advance. It depends on how much trading fees the token generates and how many other people also stay quiet alongside you. The page above walks through a made-up example with real math, so you can see how the calculation works, but it isn't a prediction.

Where does the reward money come from?

Two places: a share of the trading fees the base $SHHH token earns, including a 5% tax added on top specifically to fund this (this is the main, ongoing source), and anyone who chooses to add extra money to the pot voluntarily.

Wait, is there a trading tax now?

Yes, 5%, on top of the normal fee every token on this launchpad already pays. It's not a 5% cut of everything the project earns, it's a real, separate charge added to every trade, specifically so there's enough money to make the reward pool and the project's own cut worth having. Stated here plainly rather than left to be discovered later.

Why does the project keep 15% of the fees?

To be precise about what that 15% is: it's not 15% of every trade. It's 15% of the (much smaller) fee pool described above, after that fee is collected, working out to under 1% of the actual value of a trade. So the person who built it can actually make something from it. That split is stated openly here, fixed permanently in the code, the same on every single payout. It's not hidden and it can't be changed or increased later.

Can I take my money back out whenever I want?

Yes, always, no exceptions: before the game ends, exactly when it ends, or any time after. Taking money out (unstaking) is never blocked, and always gives you back exactly what you put in, 1-for-1.

Can I sell my wSHHH receipt directly, like on an exchange?

No. There's no marketplace for wSHHH itself. To get spendable value out, take your $SHHH back out first (1-for-1, any time), then sell that wherever $SHHH normally trades.

What if nobody stays quiet, ever?

Then nobody gets paid that round, and the money for that round simply waits and rolls into the next round's calculation instead. No money ever disappears just because everyone was noisy. It just sits there until someone earns it.

Do I need to check the app every day?

No. In fact, the entire point is to not touch it. The less you interact with it, the better you're playing. There's nothing to click, confirm, or manage day to day.

Is there a company or a boss running this?

No. There's no owner switch, no pause button, no admin key anywhere in either contract, and nobody can change the rules after launch. The rules you're reading here are the whole thing, not a company promise about what they intend to do.

Where do I go for updates?

One Telegram channel, used only to post the official contract addresses and announce things that actually happen on-chain (launch, big milestones, the end of the game). It has no power over the contracts themselves. It's just where you get pointed at the real thing.

What if I want to stop playing halfway through?

Collect whatever reward you've earned so far (this costs you that one day, as always), then unstake to get your original $SHHH back, 1-for-1, and sell it if you want to. You can do this at any point, for any reason, no questions asked. The contract doesn't know or care why.

Communication policy

$SHHH maintains one official channel: Telegram, t.me/shhhtoken. It exists for two things only: publishing the canonical contract addresses once they are deployed, and posting updates when something on-chain actually happens. It has no power over anything. No admin key controls Fountain or SilencePool from it or anywhere else. The whitepaper and the verified contract addresses remain the actual source of truth. Anyone posting elsewhere claiming to speak for $SHHH does not speak for $SHHH.
